About us
What is Air Algérie Virtual?
Air Algérie Virtual is a virtual airline for flight simulation. We recreate the real-world Air Algérie operation — its schedule, aircraft and procedures — at the highest level of realism known to date.
Are you affiliated with the real Air Algérie?
No. Air Algérie Virtual is a flight simulation organisation and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the real Air Algérie. Our website and activities are for simulation use only.
What is Numidia Air Alliance?
Numidia Air Alliance is our main VA platform and the alliance we are proudly part of. It hosts our crew centre, flight bookings and pilot accounts. When you log in or apply, you are redirected there.
Joining
Do I need flying experience to join?
No. We accept pilots of every knowledge level — from complete beginners to real-world aviators — and we are committed to bringing every pilot beyond proficient.
How do I become a pilot?
Select Become a pilot at the top of any page. You will be redirected to Numidia Air Alliance to create your account and submit your application.
Where do I log in?
Select Crew login at the top of any page. Pilot accounts are managed on Numidia Air Alliance.
Flying
Which flights do you operate?
Our schedule is based on the real-world Air Algérie timetable. Every flight operates under the
DAH callsign and is listed in our
timetable once it is published.
How are my flights tracked?
Flights are tracked and reported with TFDi Design smartCARS 3, connected to our phpVMS crew centre. Your logbook and progression update automatically.
Which simulators can I use?
You can fly with any simulator supported by TFDi Design smartCARS 3. Your instructors will confirm the add-on aircraft that meet our standards for each type.
Training
What does the training involve?
Our Academy follows four stages: ground school, type rating, checkride and line release. Each stage combines guided learning with an assessment.
Are there examinations?
Yes. Written examinations and supervised checkrides are part of every stage, assessed against airline standards. Recurrent checks continue after line release.
